How do I submit my paper?

Submit an Abstract by 20 April 2012


The call for abstracts is now open. Please carefully read the Abstract submission guidelines and template below.


To be considered for a platform presentation, abstracts must be received by 20 April 2012. Send your abstract and a completed Abstract Registration Form to odour@unsw.edu.au.

The abstract paper must include the following information:

  • Paper title
  • All authors’ and co-authors’ names and affiliations
  • Type of presentation (for oral presentation, please specify which theme the paper is to be submitted for)
  • Email address, postal address, telephone, and fax number of corresponding author
  • Outline of your project (maximum of 2 A4-size pages)

Abstracts should be in the form of an extended abstract, limited to two A4-size pages (including figures and tables), following the guidelines below, and must contain adequate information to allow a sound referee review.

You will be notified by email if your paper has been accepted for presentation by 21 May 2012 with reviewer’s comments. If you have not heard back from the organising committee, please email us at odour@unsw.edu.au. You must also contact us by email (odour@unsw.edu.au) by Friday 25 May 2012 to let us know if you have accepted the invitation to present at the conference.

Following that, full papers will need to be submitted.

Once you have your full paper complete, send your paper to odour@unsw.edu.au.

All Presenters are required to register for the conference by 14 October 2012.
